Jurassic Park is considered a classic by hundreds of film fans-and with good reason. Dinasours, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and a great John Williams score-what’s not to love? Well, precisely because of it’s popularity, the movie has come under a lot of scrutiny for it’s numerous continuity errors- eagle-eyed fans will have noticed the oft-changing weather between shots, while Ellie’s limp switches legs for almost the entire movie. But look particularly closely and you’ll notice one of the best instances of visible crew members ever- as the raptors enter the room full of washing machines, look carefully at the door- you’ll notice a hand on the raptor’s tail to hold the intricate puppet steady. It’s also worth remembering that the T-Rex wasn’t just scary on screen-rainfall caused the gigantic animatronic to malfunction, occasionally coming to life unexpectedly and terrifying crew members.
