While the whole legend of Wikileaks wound up fictionalised in the mostly-derided The Fifth Estate, the beauty of this small, intelligent documentary got lost on the mix. It’s got a hefty running time, but fills it with insightful interviews and gives you a real sense of what was going on behind the scenes at this infamous corporation. If you’re looking for something that resembles the facts, avoid The Fifth Estate and go for We Steal Secrets instead.

    I am perplexed that while some of these are horror movies that are certainly very good, and a couple of them Australian, that there is no mention of “The Snowtown Murders”. Both disturbing and compelling, the movie is based on true events and leaves the viewer far more disturbed than the excellent “Wolf Creek”.

    One of my favorite movies of all time is “Big Man on Campus.” If you happened to catch it on TV as a kid chances are you can still quote the whole movie. Got a 6 out of 10 on IMdb, despite being virtually unknown.
