The Sixth Sense holds a special place in everyone’s heart for proving several things at once- that ghost stories could still be scary, that Bruce Willis could actually act, and that child performers could be brilliant. Following the tale of a young boy (played by a brilliant Haley Joel Osmond who never topped his performance here) who can talk to ghosts, it’s sinister, upsetting, and doesn’t flinch from piling on the good-and-honest jump scares- be prepared to never go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, ever again.
